We are less than a 2 mile walk from the village of Sutton St. James that provides all the provisions you require. The village has a convenience store and post office that opens 7 days a week, a garage providing petrol and diesel (closed Sundays), a butchers and bakers that bake daily (closed Sunday’s), a farm shop and cafe, serving cooked breakfasts and lunches. Don't forget to visit the historic village Church and Tower and Baptist church that serves tea and coffee on weekday mornings.

Food & Drink

Sutton St James also boasts a local pub and restaurant, The Hat and Feathers, that offers fine ales, a beer garden, pool table and dart board. They open Wed - Sun Evenings from 5.00pm and Fri-Sun lunchtimes. Within a short drive is the Pub and Restaurant, The Bluebell Inn in Whaplode St. Catherines, that offers great food in the evenings, it's own brewed ale and a Sunday Carvery. The Five Bells at Tydd St Mary is also only a few miles away and offers home cooked food. There are a number of takeaway’s that deliver to the village, Chinese, Indian, Pizza’s, Burgers and Kebabs, visit Food Hub or Just Eat for the details. Long Sutton has a McDonalds, Subway and Domino’s and other restaurants.

Local Attractions

The market towns of Long Sutton, Holbeach, Spalding and Wisbech are within 20 minutes drive and have all the amenities and small towns including ten-pin bowling and Springfields Outlet Designer Shopping Village (Spalding), a multi screen cinema (Wisbech) and various restaurants. We are also less than an hours drive from the Royal Estate of Sandringham Woods and the picturesque North Norfolk Coast and Seaside Town of Hunstanton. The area also has some excellent golf courses, including Tydd St.Giles Country Club and Leisure Centre and Gedney Hill Golf Course that are both open to the public.
