LambsNEWS........Due to the outbreak of the Corona Virus, we have taken advice to temporarily close our Toilet and Shower Block. The Park remains OPEN and we welcome all new and existing customers but have made the above decision in the best interests of visitors and ourselves. David and Maureen.

Situated on the banks of the South Holland Drain in the heart of the Fens, Homefields is the ideal rural caravan and motorhome park for you to relax in the Lincolnshire Countryside. Our park boasts some animal friends including Lambs, Ducklings and Pygmy Goats, all born in 2019.

Close to the picturesque village of Sutton St. James and market towns of Long Sutton, Holbeach, Wisbech and Spalding, Homefields is perfectly located for fishing, walking and to enjoy the delights of the open landscapes of South Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.

The Park...

We are a brand new, family run site, established during 2016 as a CL site affiliated with the Caravan and Motorhome Club. Each of the 5 gravel standing pitches has it's own pedestal containing an electric hook up, light, water supply and waste water drain away. We are situated in a quiet rural location, on the river banks of the South Holland Main Drain. We have a secure, coded gate system and are currently in the process of building a shower block. The local waterways provide miles of unspoilt river side walks and bridleways and the well maintained rivers provide fishing for species such as carp (up to 30lb), bream, rudd, roach, tench, perch, pike and eels. The local river systems require a license that can be purchased in the local Angling Supplies Shop (Geds of Holbeach) or by contacting Holbeach and District Angling Club https://www.facebook.com/Holbeach-District-Angling-Club-723942874325403/

Tariff and Booking

We currently charge from £15.00 per night (depending on season) and that includes the hook up. Please call us for more details and to check for availability. We look forward to hearing from you.

Amenities

We are a 2 mile walk from the village of Sutton St. James that provides all the provisions you require. A local pub and restaurant, The Hat and Feathers, that offers fine ales, a beer garden, pool table and dart board. They offer great value steak nights on Wednesday and Sunday evenings. They open Wed-Sun Evenings from 7.00pm and Fri-Sun lunchtimes, 12 - 3.00pm serving an extensive menu of pub favourites, call 01945 440 221 to book. The village has a convenience store and post office that opens 7 days a week, a garage providing petrol and diesel (closed Sundays) and a butchers and bakers that bake daily. Please don't forget to visit the historic village church that holds tea and coffee mornings and yearly events. Within a short drive is the Pub and Restaurant, The Bluebell Inn www.thebluebell.net in Whaplode St. Catherines, that offers great food in the evenings, it's own brewed ale and a Sunday Carvery. The market towns of Long Sutton, Holbeach, Spalding and Wisbech are within 20 minutes drive and have all the amenities and small towns including ten-pin bowling (Spalding), a multi screen cinema (Wisbech) and various restaurants. We are also around a 45 minute drive from the Royal Estate of Sandringham Woods. The area also has some excellent golf courses, including Tydd St.Giles Country Club and Leisure Centre and Gedney Hill Golf Course that are both open to the public.

We also have a small farm and grow seasonal produce including potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, courguette, carrots and can also provide fresh eggs.
